Why software engineering?

When concerts were put on hold in 2020, I was presented with an amazing opportunity to engineer solutions that benfit users quality of life. After 8 years of orchestral performance at an elite level, I wanted to be involved in an industry that reached people beyond the concert hall. Making the change from engineering great performances to engineering great applications was as seemless as possible. The universal skills of collaboration and excellence I embodied in music are still thriving today, as my desire to engineer better software continues to grow.
